ASupport website for a jungle expedition.
The Lost World website was developed to support an expedition to a remote part of the Brazilian rainforest by three teachers. The teachers emailed content for the website to us, to enable frequent updates during the course of the expedition. A sister project - JungleTXT enabled pupils to receive text message updates from the explorers direct to their mobile phones. The projects were designed as an out-of-school activity (over the summer holidays), with cross curriculum learning objectives.

Client:
Knowsley MBC have pioneered the use of e-learning and learning technologies in their schools. They were one of the first Pathfinder funded LEAs and are now leading the way with the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme. Their three City Learning Centres have been proactive in developing materials to support new vocational qualifications and we have supported them extensively in this task.
