World Petroleum Council

Website to promote the global activities of the WPC.

The WPC organises a major congress for the petroleum industry every two years. The website includes educational resources relating to climate change, gas and oil production, together with a searchable directory of WPC members. The date and agenda for forthcoming Congresses are also signposted.

We revamped this website in April 2010, which included a visual overhaul, content restructuring and migration to the Joomla Content Management System from Adobe Contribute. The new CMS has the advantage that updates can be made from any web-connected PC, together with more advanced user registration and access control for Council Members.
