Traveling by Car

 

Approaching from the West on M62

• » Take Junction 23 off the M62.
• » Follow the A640 into Huddersfield until you reach the ring road.
• » Turn right onto the ring road - A62 Castlegate (anticlockwise)
  Keep to left hand lane and continue round the ring road onto Queensgate, passing the University on your right..
• » At the big roundabout (junction with the A629) take the first exit onto Southgate.
• » Go straight on at the first traffic lights and take the next left off the ring road onto Northumberland Street (signposted The Media Centre).
• » Take the second right onto Lord Street.
• » Park up where you can and call in at Reception or call us on your mobile (0870 990 5200) and we'll come down and meet you. The entrance is on the corner, beneath the big orange LED display.
• » If we've booked a parking space for you, we can direct you to a visitor's parking space (probably one at the rear of the building). If not there are lots of pay & display on-street parking around the Media Centre.
  

Approaching from the East on M62

• » Take Junction 25 off the M62.
• » Follow the signs for Huddersfield via the A62 (Leeds Road)
• » At the Junction with the Huddersfield town centre ring road turn left onto Southgate. Immediately move across to the right hand lane.
• » Go straight across the first set of traffic lights.
• » Turn right at the second set of traffic lights onto Kirkgate.
• » Take the first right at the traffic lights onto Lord Street. Bus shelters and large church should now be on your left.
• » Go straight across the next mini roundabout.
• » You will come to a cross roads - Junction with Northumberland Street. Go straight across - the Media Centre is on your right.
• » Park up where you can and call in at Reception or call us on your mobile (0870 990 5200) and we'll come down and meet you. The entrance is on the corner, beneath the big orange LED display.

Approaching on the Wakefield Road (A629). Normal route from M1 South.

• » At the large roundabout turn right (second exit) onto Southgate.
• » Go straight on at the first traffic lights and take the next left off the ring road onto Northumberland Street (signposted The Media Centre).
• » Take the second right onto Lord Street.
• » Park up where you can and call in at Reception or call us on your mobile (0870 990 5200) and we'll come down and meet you. The entrance is on the corner, beneath the big orange LED display.

Traveling by train

Our offices are just a short walk from Huddersfield's railway station. When you come out of the station, walk down past the George Hotel on your left. Cross John William street at the traffic lights and walk down Northumberland Street. After approximately 200 yds, The Media Centre is on the left. The entrance is on the corner of the junction with Lord Street. Look for the big scrolling LED sign above the entrance.
