Scope - Putting Disabled Children in the Picture
The Children in the picture website aims to promote the inclusion of disabled children in early year's picture books.
Scope’s in the picture programme is about encouraging publishers, illustrators and writers to embrace diversity - so that disabled children are included alongside others in picture books for young readers.
The website provides an images bank of demonstration pieces for inspiration and reference as well as several animated stories featuring illustrations of disabled children.
